Kamala Harris goes off on Trump in word-salad rant
Harris drops the profanity filter in Las Vegas, calling the Iran conflict 'bulls, t' while Democrats weigh her as their 2028 frontrunner over Newsom.

Kamala Harris let loose with an expletive in front of a Las Vegas crowd Thursday, pausing mid-rant about the war in Iran to shout "bulls, t!" as the audience cheered her on.
The former vice president stumbled through her critique, "which the American people do not want, which was not authorized by … should not have been initiated … he talked about obliterating … it’s all just …", before landing on the curse word she later claimed she had promised not to use in public anymore. She followed it with a cackle and the admission, "You made me do that!"
Her larger point was that the conflict, which she blamed on the current administration's "profound" irresponsibility, is draining "billions of dollars," driving up gas prices, and making "the American people suffering." Harris framed it as an unauthorized war Americans reject, yet the delivery veered into the disjointed style that defined her 2024 campaign.
This moment arrives as Harris barnstorms the country to help Democrats reclaim the House and Senate in the midterms. Polling from the Center for American Political Studies and the Harris Poll puts her as the clear favorite among Democrats for 2028 at 50 percent, well ahead of California Gov. Gavin Newsom at 22 percent and Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro at 8 percent.
Her recent endorsement of Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass highlighted Bass's record on homelessness and crime, but Harris's own post-2024 trajectory remains tethered to the "catastrophic" loss to Trump that the source itself notes. The profanity may fire up the base, yet it underscores how little her rhetorical habits have changed.
The real tension is whether a candidate whose 2024 defeat still lingers can translate crowd-pleasing outbursts into the disciplined leadership Democrats claim they need. Her Las Vegas slip suggests the answer remains unsettled.
