HBO's 'War' Offers Classy-Trashy Divorce Drama with West and Miller
Anthology series debuts with a sharp, well-cast first season centered on a bitter London divorce between two lawyers.
HBO's War, an anthology drama about rival London law firms, launches with a season starring Dominic West and Sienna Miller as a high-profile couple locked in a vicious divorce.
The series, developed under the banner of an anthology format, uses its inaugural season to explore the personal and professional fallout of a high-stakes legal marriage unraveling amid the city’s legal elite.
West and Miller portray lead partners at competing firms whose professional rivalry fuels, and is fueled by, their increasingly acrimonious personal split.
Reviews suggest the show balances emotional depth with tabloid appeal, earning praise for its polished performances and layered writing.
